X Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)

Through our Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), we provide FREE, nutritional home-cooked meals and snacks for all children 18 and under. We are a state-wide provider serving all qualified after-school programs, schools, child care centers, community centers, adult day cares, and more. Our menus are DSS approved and aligns with the school system food regulations. We provide a broad range of meals that are both kids- and adult-friendly!

X Summer Feeding Service Program (SFSP)

We are a proud sponsor of the Summer Feeding Service Program (SFSP). We provide FREE, nutritional home-cooked meals and snacks (including breakfast, lunch/supper, and snacks) for all children 18 and under. The SFSP meal services cover the month of June to August, Sunday – Saturday. Please note that hours may vary depending on location. We provide healthy meals for all children with NO CHARGE, regardless of their race, color, sex, origin, age, or disability.

X Home Delivered Meals (HDM)

We recognize that there are many people who struggle with completing everyday tasks and errands, such as grocery shopping, cooking, etc. – whether it’s due to a lack of resources, advanced age, disability, or some other reason. With the support of sponsors and caring individuals, we can make life a little bit easier for those in need by providing delicious, home-cooked meals right to their doors. We offer hot delivered meals which are prepared daily, freshly prepared and chilled blast meals with 90 days guaranteed to stay fresh, and shelf-stable meals (canned good items).

X Shelf-Stable Milk

If you are looking for affordable, nutritional milk products, we encourage you to try out our shelf-stable milk! Our shelf-stable milk has no preservatives added and has all of the nutritional values and flavors as regular milk. Furthermore, it has a 12-month shelf life which means that you don’t have to worry about quick spoilage! Our shelf-stable milk doesn’t have to be refrigerated and is perfect to pack in on-the-go meals and/or extracurricular activities. It is cost-effective and can definitely help you save some money. We also provide you with the option to order in large or small quantities.

Summer Feeding Program

VEC participates in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) every summer. We provide meals to all children ages 18 and younger with no charge, regardless of their race, color, sex, origin, age, or disability.

As such, during the course of the meal service, we do not tolerate discrimination. Meal services will be provided to the counties of Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Marion, Marlboro, and Chesterfield.

Free hot meals available. Meal Services covers the month of June to August, from Monday to Friday. Hours may vary depending on location.

Summer Camp

Every summer, we hold summer camps to help children continue their studies and reviews for the next level of education. We teach them the necessary subjects which they will likely meet for the next school year.

This program is open to kids ages 5 to 12 years old and we provide daily nutritional meals for them. To enroll, do not hesitate to contact us.
